“When you meet a tiger on the path, bless the tiger, he is there to teach you something. When you meet a Master on the path, you may ask a question, he is also there to teach you. When you meet someone on the path you wish to share your life with, be grateful for their presence, take their hands, you may walk together a ways, perhaps up a mountainside, but each person’s awareness of their journey is a solitary one. You may walk the path collectively, but the lessons come to each individual, as he or she requires them “

Wow what a start to the day! The road that led into the cloud
These are quite old grain storage structures ( horros ) often customized by the farmer. They are absolutelyeverywhere in the countryside here. A signature fixture in all farms and most back yards. Off the ground to ward off rodents, ventilated to keep the grain dry fall and winter
Once again heavy clouds have settled in the valley but we are up high walking
This is a sneak peek through a hole on the fence wall into a beautiful gorgeous backyard. Many of the yards are exquisitely landscaped with stonework and statuary. Observation: almost all yards are fenced !
‘Fuente del Peregrino’. Once again my favorite Camino verses I’m reminded of (coincidence?) and a water bottle refill fuente to boot.
“Yo soy el Camino, y la verdad, y la vida -Jesus”
This little gem of a chapel was open to all. Spent 20 minutes there resting my legs and achy body and re-reading the book of James. Interestingly, about every third one of these when I pop in there is Monica (A Thai acquaintance, living in France) already there in row one doing her morning prayers
Of course I lit a candle of remembrance for all the moms. Why not?
